Research Internships for SLP Students
SpeechLight offers research internships for students pursuing their graduate and undergraduate degrees in Speech Language Pathology. The program is designed and administered by clinicians and educators who have run research studies and designed Masters-level curriculum at leading university SLP programs.
Students will have an opportunity to put into practice the principles and practices for sound clinical research that they learn in the classroom. Students will conduct mock patient assessments on both unimpaired and impaired subjects (if accessible), using the latest in mobile SLP assessment technologies from SpeechLight. This is a semester-long, unpaid internship, designed to be part-time and to run in parallel with the typical SLP curriculum. Program start-dates vary.
Position your students for success by exposing them to the latest mobile technology for assessment and diagnosis of oral-motor speech disorders and other conditions related to brain health.
